So, given it's summer, I now have all this free time, and I finally figured out the local pool schedule, I've been contemplating getting a pass and trying to go regularly. Figured I'd pay one or two days individually and see how I like the pool and how it works into my schedule before dropping the big money, so I wandered over there today. Like it quite a bit, but definitely overdid it, given I hadn't been swimming for real in years, and at all since the accidental dunking last summer. Walked home and stupidly decided upon a shower before food, and my body let me know in no uncertain terms that that was a bad idea when I almost collapsed while drying off. But, aside from me being stupid, I am hopeful about this as a Plan. Which Plans are a good thing, so I don't totally go off the rails this summer.
Contemplating a nap before my meeting this afternoon, but a little worried I'll be crazy groggy if I do sleep... On the other hand, it is ridiculously hot for May, and a nap sounds reeeeeally good...
