I seem to start a lot of posts with that these days. It's such an excellent sound/concept. "mer". It incompasses both my general lack of enthusiasm and a sense of distaste for whatever has caused it.
Have had all of my classes but one now. Am more than a little confused/overwhelmed. What am I doing in a class that includes a research paper? I don't know _how_ to do a research paper! (I mean, yes, I understand that it is a paper which one researches, I'm not actually an idiot. If that's what you thought I meant then 'mer' to you.)
I'm taking this religion/film course that's not about religion and isn't be taught by a film prof. Okaaay... (Think of the first three movies you would show or expect to see in a religion and film course, and I'll bet you $10 they're not being shown. We are going to see Jaws though, and the first three Aliens movies.) And the reading list includes both Jung and Freud. What on earth am I getting myself in for?
On the other hand, my job with Debbie and the Astro department is just the coolest ever. Here's to being published, or something.
Why is it that of the 6 books I need for a class, the one that isn't available in the bookstore is the first one we've got an assignment in?
Japanese is going to kick my ass, I'm convinced. However, I'm also proobaly going to have either the top or the second top grade in the class, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
captainecchi,
myloveisrobotic, come back! I don't want to be the NSOer with the most japanese knowledge! I was happy just being the only one who spoke German with any reliablility.
Gah. Why is the internet access still so stupid?
(Rhetorical question. Please don't answer it. Again, I'm not that much of an idiot.)
Pathos. I like pathos. From pathos I get pathetic, and antipathy, and apathetic.
Mer indeed.
