updates from the fortress of solitude

(If only I had Clark Kent's mad fast typing skills. Would make papers go so much faster.)
Passed the test and then slept for several hours, which was good. Then, after deciding that the thing to do was to catch up on things that weren't my paper (on the theory that I'd catch up and then work) I wasted several hours before going by the NonCon Preshow, for "a few minutes". Eight hours later I am now safely back in the fortress, trying to decide if I will get any work done if I stay up and write.
I think the answer is probably 'no'.
So, depending on whether you're of the 'Amy should do her work' school of thought or the 'Amy should go out, be social, and not go crazy' school of thought, today was either a really good day or a really bad day.
I make no assumptions.
Tomorrow, some shopping will be done, and much paper writing, and probably some other stuff. Maybe involving sushi. Because more things should invovle sushi. But maybe not, because sushi involves, a) leaving the fortress of solitude, and b) money.
Then game and game and game and game and game, and then more paper writing. *sigh* Stupid finals. *hates them*

In other news, hooray for the Amy for being social! We are proud to report that the only side effects of this recent behavio(u)r are that a) she was made to leave the fortress (or cave as some may call it) and b) she was made to spend money, which as a college student, she doesn't have much of (though she gets points for being a Capitalist anyway).
Stay tuned for updates on the Amy being social and getting through the dreaded "The Paper" and it's partner in crime "Other Finals", both of which she, the Amy, hates.
And now back to your regularly scheduled doom... or life, whichever you prefer.
