For all the v-school types coming back in a few days...

Just having the freshmen with infected computers has gotten the dorms' internet access killed until Friday. Come Saturday there will be three times again as many people coming in with their stupid PCs and what do you want to bet that at least one of them is infected?

CIS is scrambling madly to clean all the computers and come up with some way to keep all of this from happening again next week, and I have to tell you that if they have a solution and you bitch to them you are likely to have your respective genetalia ripped off. They are rather less than amused by this whole thing, especially since the student workers who are going door to door with the freshmen are working essentially twice as much as they're getting paid for right now.

Also, if I get my internet back just to have some random idiot get it all shut down again I am going to hunt them down and beat them to death with a blunt object.

marcmagus, I desperately want to do something that doesn't involve me reading in my room and wishing there was something to do tonight. How does a movie sound?

Of course, replying to this post after 4:30 is no use as I have to go back to my dorm then and the library closes around 5 so I can't even take the Laptop of Doom there for very long...
