yet another work post...

I think the oddest thing about this job is the fact that the secretary keeps telling me I don't need to work so hard/often/long/much.

It's very confusing, because I get the impression from everyone else that I'm not working hard enough...

I got the days off I needed in June, but am now entirely out of vacation days. At that I had to look really lost and imploring to get them to give me the two off for Origins.

I've gone back to cataloging their library. Ran across this series of books called "Living and Working in..." and flipped through the one on Germany. All of the technical information is correct (as far as I know) but all the things that weren't straight fact were just sterotype after sterotype. Some of them were fair/true sterotypes, but most of them weren't... What a bad collection of books.

Oh damnit... have just fucked something else up! I don't think I'm ever going to get this all right and I feel like my bosses are always finding me lacking...
